Avanti Designs is a Dallas based family-owned and operated full service drapery workroom serving interior designers, general contractors and builders in the DFW area with national reach. With over three decades of crafting custom drapery and a streamlined fabrication process, Avanti has become a trusted name in the luxury window treatments and custom upholstery.

Our mission is rooted in a deep-seated passion for fabricating with bespoke, high- quality window treatments and custom upholstery. For us, Avanti is more than just a drapery workroom, it's about understanding the heart and soul of every project and crafting solutions that speak to the function, personality and style of each designer’s client. Informed by decades of experience and a profound love for design, Avanti is dedicated to be the perfect concierge drapery workroom for interior designers, contractors, and builders.
OUR STORY
Avanti’s history is a path of continuous innovation and growth anchored in a passion for excellence in window treatment design.
It all began with Nohemi DiMaggio's custom drapery boutique in 1993. She developed a strong foundation in the trade, mastering the intricacies of fabric and design. Inspired by her father's advice to always look ahead and always keep thriving for doing only your best, Nohemi moved to Texas, a decision that was instrumental in shaping Avanti's future.
Avanti was born from Nohemi's relentless pursuit of her craft and her desire to bring top- quality window treatments to a broader audience. The company has always stood for progress and learning, principles equally important to this day.
Today, Avanti continues to evolve under Nohemi's leadership, now joined by her children, Karen and Pablo. Their fresh ideas and energy have added new dimensions to the business, ensuring Avanti remains at the forefront of design and customer satisfaction.
MEET THE TEAM
Nohemi DiMaggio
Founder
Nohemi is the heart and soul of Avanti Designs. As the visionary behind the brand, she oversees every aspect of the Texas drapery workroom. Her keen eye for detail ensures that every project, whether serving interior designers or homeowners, is executed flawlessly.
Nohemi's rigorous fabrication and project management processes is a reflection of her dedication, passion, and commitment.
Outside of Avanti, she loves to travel the world with her husband Nino and enjoys relaxing moments with their beloved 80 lbs Golden Retriever, Louie, often with a glass of Cabernet by the fireplace.

Karen Ginn
Project Management | Design Consultant
Karen brings a vibrant and fresh perspective to Avanti Designs as a project manager and design consultant. Her natural flair for eye-to-detail and a continuing searching for keep improving workroom systems, is reflected in her own home where she frequently changes and innovate drapes and pillows, keeping her home well organized, warmth and beautifully comfortable.
Karen outside of the workroom, she enjoys spending time with her husband Drew and their golden retriever, Evvie. Thirsty for knowledge and information, she often indulges in interior design podcasts and a bit of celebrity gossip.
Pablo Santos
Head Installer
Pablo is the creative and critical thinker of Avanti Designs, known for his ability to analyze challenges and come up with effective solutions on the spot. As the head installer, he ensures that every window treatment is expertly installed, reflecting his passion for business and numbers.
Outside of Avanti, Pablo runs a scaffolding rental company. He is a devoted father to his children, Amelia and Diego, and enjoys woodworking, playing FIFA on Xbox, and is a forever Real Madrid fan.
